Wema Bukembe Development Organization
My name is Favour Masika, and I am writing this letter to express my heartfelt gratitude for the support
and care you provided me while growing up. As a partial orphan, being raised in Wema Centre was one
of the most significant things that happened to me.
I joined Wema when I was still young, after my mother passed away, leaving me with no one to take
care of me. Wema provided me with a home and a family, and I am grateful for the love and care that I
received. It was a great relief to know that I had a safe and stable environment where I could grow up
and thrive. Wema funded my entire education. I learnt at Lotus of highway schools and excelled and was
given the opportunity to attend Bahati Girls High School, which is a national school. I worked hard and
was able to score a good grade that secured me a place in a university. I am now a first-year university
student pursuing a degree in information technology at Kabarak University where Wema is also paying
my fees.
As I look back on my life, I realize that Wema Children's Centre played a significant role in shaping me
into the person I am today. They helped me to overcome the challenges that I faced as a partial orphan,
and they gave me hope for the future. They also provided me with emotional support and guidance. The
staff at the centre became like family to me, and they were always there to offer a listening ear or to
provide practical support. They helped me to develop into a responsible and confident young adult, and
I am forever grateful for their guidance
I want to assure the staff at Wema Children's Centre that their hard work and dedication did not go
unnoticed, and that they made a significant impact on my life. After I complete my studies and get a job, I hope to help other needy children as much as I have been helped.
Once again, thank you, Wema Children's Centre, for everything.
Sincerely,
Favour Masika.
