Dear Wema Children Centre,

My name is Blessing Bridgid, and I am five years old. I wanted to thank you for all the love and support
you have given me since I came to live with you.

I know that my journey here began with sadness, as my dear mother passed away while giving birth to
me. It was a difficult time for everyone, and I had no one to take care of me, but you opened your arms
to me and welcomed me into this caring and nurturing environment. You became my family and for
that, I am forever grateful. Your smiles, hugs, and words of encouragement have filled my heart with
joy. Even in moments when I miss my mother, your love has helped me heal and find happiness.

In the time I have spent with you, I have experienced nothing but love, kindness, and compassion. From
the caretakers who comforted me when I cry to the teachers who are teaching me new things every day.
I want to thank you for providing me with a safe and happy place to live. The warm beds, nutritious
meals, and clean clothes have made me feel secure and loved. The education I am receiving is
wonderful. I have learned to read, write, and explore the world around me I have also made friends here
who have become like siblings to me. We play together, learn together, and live together.

Thank you so much Wema for everything you have done for me. You have given me a second chance at
life, and I promise to make the most of it. I will study hard and make you proud.
