Yesterday, during their break, the Environmental Club at Lotus of Highway School engaged in tree planting activities in the school garden. They opted for a diverse range of tree species to aid in environmental preservation. Exploring the role of trees in fostering rainfall, crucial for plant growth and agricultural endeavors, was an integral aspect of their educational journey. They stressed the necessity of ceasing the harmful practice of deforestation without implementing reforestation efforts. Moreover, they vowed to extend their tree planting endeavors to their homes to mitigate drought and encourage environmental stewardship.
