Today we covered the different careers in engineering. Engineering is the practice of using natural science, mathematics, and the engineering design process to solve technical problems, increase efficiency and productivity, and improve systems. The main branches of engineering are civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical but there are several sub branches including aerospace, biomedical, environmental, architectural, computer just to name a few. The students were encouraged to excel in mathematics and physics if they want to take up courses in engineering. Also, they were told to make sure they get overall good grades to enable them pursue the profession.
